2026!

Happy New Year! I want to start by saying that I hope this year brings you tremendous opportunities, growth, love, and joy. I have already had some amazing opportunities and the year is only two weeks old. Last weekend I got to open for Cosmic Gate for the second time and the crowd went insane for some of my unreleased music. I won't spend too much time talking about those tracks, but know they are coming soon :)! Also, I have my first release coming on ReOrder's label Reverie XO. It's an absolute belter of a track called 'Style.' It combines my hard edge techno grooves with some awesome synth and lead work to make an immersive track that takes everyone on a journey through a transforming soundscape. It's out everywhere on the 23rd of January and you can pre-save it with the link below! Finally, to celebrate the release of 'Style,' ReOrder asked me to do an exclusive guest mix for his radio show Reverie Daydream Radio. You can catch that on YouTube on the 23rd of January at 1 p.m. CST. The year is starting off fast for me and I am excited to see what else is in store!

Hear ‘Style’ on 23 January

‘Plea of Mercy’

You can catch ‘Plea of Mercy’ wherever you listen to your music now! I have gotten some fun feedback for this tune and enjoy playing it in my live sets. It creates a moment where the crowd can lift up their hands, close their eyes, and just feel. Let me know what you think of this one.

Makoom’s Menagerie

Even with all of the things happening this year, I will still have a new episode of Makoom’s Menagerie fresh for you next week! It’ll have a great selection of tracks and a play of my new track ‘Style.’

Tip of the Month: L3 Multi-maximizer

I am using my tip to highlight a workhorse plugin that I use multiple times in every track I make. The L3 Multi-maximizer from Waves is a multi-band compressor with up to five bands of compression available to you. When used properly, it helps you give a sound robust body and presence in your mix. I find that by applying this plugin effectively, I can use one or two leads in a stack to reduce the amount of time I spend tinkering to get the sound that I want for a key component of a track. In turn, this saves you time and helps you get tracks done more quickly without getting stuck on a specific part. I cannot stress how important it is to finish tracks as a producer because this is how you get feedback from peers, mentors, and A&Rs. Ultimately, the more records you complete, the better chance you have to continue learning, growing, and succeed in this industry!

Photo of the Month

Opening for Cosmic Gate at The Concourse Project was surreal. The club has one of the best sound systems in the world and trance fans show up in force. Everyone came early to party with me and made me feel loved. I played a ton of my mashups and even some unreleased originals. Everyone was with the vibe I curated from start to finish and made this show one I’ll remember for a long time.
